The bill on increasing salaries to doctors engaged in the sphere of oncology, narcology and psychiatry has been developed and submitted to the government, Deputy Minister of Health of Azerbaijan Rasim Ismaylov said, according to Report.
"Appointing doctors in these specialties to regional hospitals is a serious problem. In this regard, a bill on adjusting their salaries to the real conditions has been developed and submitted to the government," Ismayilov said.
The deputy minister also noted that the bill on taxation of the salaries of doctors working in the clinics of the Medical Institute has been worked out and submitted to the government.
"This is a serious issue. We ask the ministry of finance and the ministry of economy to treat this issue with special sensitivity. Because there are differences in the taxation of the salaries of medical workers of private and state institutions. As a result of this, experienced, highly qualified specialists of the four clinics of the Medical Institute and Baku Health Center leave for private hospitals," he said.
