Milli Majlis adopts statement dedicated to Year of Constitution and Sovereignty

The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan has adopted a statement dedicated to the Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.

According to Report, the draft was discussed during a special parliamentary session on the theme "National Leader Heydar Aliyev – Author of the Constitution of Independent Azerbaijan."

The text of the statement was read out by MP Bahruz Maharramov.

After discussions, the document was put to a vote and adopted unanimously.

The Milli Majlis of Azerbaijan will adopt an official statement to commemorate the 102nd anniversary of the birth of national leader Heydar Aliyev, Speaker Sahiba Gafarova said during today's special parliamentary session titled "Heydar Aliyev – Author of the Constitution of Independent Azerbaijan."

Gafarova noted that the statement will be adopted following the conclusion of the session.

The session is dedicated to the Year of the Constitution and Sovereignty.
