Zakir Hasanov and Italian Ambassador mull prospects of developing cooperation between armies

On July 16, the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, met with the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Italy to Azerbaijan Claudio Taffuri on July 16, Report informs, citing the Defense Ministry.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the current state and prospects of military cooperation between the armies of the two countries, within the framework of NATO programs, and exchanged views on regional security issues.
