Defense Minister of Azerbaijan expresses condolences to Russian side

The Minister of Defense of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Zakir Hasanov, has sent a letter of condolences to the Russian Federation's Defense Minister, General of the Army Sergey Shoygu.

Report informs, the letter says: "I am deeply saddened by the death of a Russian officer during the demining of a road section in the vicinity of the Shusha city.

On behalf of the Azerbaijani Army's military personnel and on my own, I want to express my sincere condolences to the deceased officer's family, relatives, and friends. We grieve over the tragedy together with you".
