UNHCR representative shocked by what he saw in Azerbaijan's Aghdam and Fuzuli

"I have been to many places around the world, but what I saw in Zangilan, Aghdam, Fuzuli, and Jabrayil was a shock even for me," said Guido Ambrosio, head of the representative office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) in Azerbaijan, as quoted by Report.

He noted that he joined several trips to the liberated areas for the representatives of the diplomatic missions accredited in Azerbaijan and was shocked by the scale of destruction.

He added that the organization is working intensively with the Azerbaijani government to return the displaced persons to the liberated lands.

Guido Ambrosio held a presentation for the meeting participants, in which he informed the youth in detail about the UNHCR activities around the globe, including in Azerbaijan, and answered students' questions.
