A total of 69 vehicles of the Russian peacekeeping contingent moved freely on the Khankandi-Lachin road, where protests against the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the Karabakh economic region of Azerbaijan are taking place, Report informs.
The protesters do not interfere with the movement of vehicles used for humanitarian purposes.
On December 12, 2022, Azerbaijani environmental activists, volunteers, and representatives of civil society launched a peaceful protest demanding to put an end to ecological terrorism and stop the illegal exploitation of mineral deposits in the territories of Azerbaijan where the Russian peacekeepers are temporarily deployed.
The protests have been going on for 100 days.
