Shusha conference participants call on world to support restoration of destroyed cultural monuments

The participants of the Shusha conference have urged the world community to support Azerbaijan's humanitarian initiatives on the restoration of infrastructure and destroyed monuments of history, according to the appeal of the participants of the Shusha international conference 'Advancing Post-Conflict Humanitarian Agenda: Sustainable development through revitalization of cultural environment.'

"We call on the international community to provide the unconditional and resolute support to the humanitarian initiatives of the Azerbaijani government aimed at the restoration of infrastructure and destroyed historical monuments, the revival of culture and heritage in the post-conflict period. In this context, we call on the international community to support measures to build trust, restore cultural, religious, and natural heritage, and efforts to promote successful models of post-conflict reconciliation," the message says.
