“It is sad to see all the destruction in Karabakh, and the village of Edilli is a tragic place for humanity,” a representative from Serbia, Srdjan Budimic, who today, together with representatives from other countries, visited the village of Edilli, Khojavand district of Azerbaijan, liberated from the Armenian occupation, told Report.
“I am very sad to see all this. I believe in peace, and what I see here is very sad for humanity, for humanism,” he said.
Budimic noted that this was not his first visit to Azerbaijan:
“Every time I go back, I always share everything I see here and tell about it in every possible way. And, of course, I will also speak about what I saw in Edilli.”
“I had been to Aghdam. And it was very painful to see all the destruction there,” he added.
On October 15, a delegation of foreign experts and representatives of NGOs visited the village of Edilli, Khojavand district, liberated from the Armenian occupation. The delegation included representatives of NGOs from the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Poland, Finland, Serbia, Romania, Turkiye and Estonia.
In the liberated village of Edilli, at the end of September, another mass grave was found. The remains of 12 people were found, presumably Azerbaijani servicemen, whose hands and feet were tied with wire before death.
