Putin, Pashinyan discuss implementation of statements on Karabakh

President of Russia Vladimir Putin had a telephone conversation with the Acting Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan, Report informs, citing a Kremlin statement.
Vladimir Putin congratulated Nikol Pashinyan on the victory of his Civil Contract Party in the recent snap parliament elections and wished him success in forming a new government.
“During the exchange of views on Nagorno-Karabakh, the importance of consistent implementation of the agreements of the Russian, Armenian and Azerbaijani leaders dated November 9, 2020, and January 11, 2021, was emphasized. The Russian side will continue active mediation efforts to ensure stability in the region,” reads the Kremlin’s statement.
