Putin: No one is interested in further escalations in Karabakh

Nobody is interested in further escalations in Nagorno-Karabakh, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the annual Direct Line event, Report informs.
“Russia has played a particular role in resolving this serious crisis. If we live friendly, we will create conditions not only in the field of human security, but also normalize life in the social sphere. After all, it is impossible to live in anxiety that the armed conflict may resume,” Putin said.
According to him, there are still issues related to the restoration of infrastructure, demarcation of the border.
“We are now working on these matters, and a tripartite group has been created. We will do our best to restore normal relations in the region,” he added.
