Since the 1990s, Azerbaijan has peacefully tried to cope with the problem of the occupation of its territories by Armenia. The UN Security Council has adopted four resolutions on this issue, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the 8th Baku Global Forum, Report informs.
“Unfortunately, we have witnessed non-compliance with UN Security Council Resolutions. This undermined the credibility of the UN. We realized that the negotiations and activities of the UN did not yield results, so we ourselves took the necessary steps and as a result, the conflict was resolved. We call on the entire international community to create a new world order. We are interested in increasing the efficiency of the UN," Jeyhun Bayramov said.
