Envoy: UK supports dream of Azerbaijani IDPs of returning home

Azerbaijani IDPs dream of returning to their lands, the UK supports this desire, and therefore contributes to the restoration of the liberated territories, UK Ambassador to Azerbaijan James Sharp said at the international conference “Humanitarian Demining and Sustainable Development Goals” in Baku, Report informs.
The ambassador noted that the UK is assisting the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) in the issue of clearing the liberated territories from mines.
In Aghdam, one could see special UK-made drones for detecting mines, he added.
He also stressed that the speed of restoration of the liberated lands is amazing.
