654 people to be moved to five residential buildings to be constructed in Jabrayil at initial stage

The groundbreaking ceremony for a multi-apartment residential neighborhood was held in Jabrayil on October 4.

Report informs that President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the event.

It was brought to his attention that a residential neighborhood that covers an area of 10.5 hectares will be commissioned in phases. The first stage provides for the construction of five buildings. Nearly 200 families or 654 people will be accommodated here. There will be four-, five- and six-storied residential and other buildings in the neighborhood. The facades and balconies of the buildings to be built in this neighborhood and the city center will be given a modern look while preserving their history.

While before the occupation, Jabrayil district was home to 52,000 people, now their number has reached 82,000. One of the most critical factors here is the extraction of water from underground sources for the people living in the city. District residents, who have returned to their hometowns after many years, are provided with all conditions for comfortable living.
