Germany to experimentally introduce 4-day work week

At least 45 companies and organizations in Germany will experimentally introduce a four-day working week from February for the next six months, Report informs referring to the DPA news agency.
Enterprises will try out a four-day workweek based on a model of 100% fulfillment of obligations for 80% of the time and 100% of wages.
More than half of the project participants are small enterprises, the number of employees of which ranges from 9 to 48 people. Some 14% of participants are large enterprises with more than 249 full-time employees.
Until February they will be prepared at special seminars. Responsibility for the implementation of the scientific part of the program lies with the Westphalian Wilhelm University of Munster.
