More than 20 million passengers have been transported since the special quarantine regime was applied on March 24, Chairman of the Management Board of the Baku Transport Agency (BTA) Vusal Karimli said at the briefing of the Operational Headquarters under the Cabinet of Ministers.
According to him, 1,750 buses are currently serving passengers.
“Extra drivers were recruited, and they worked on express buses,” he said.
Karimli also noted that the buses are regularly disinfected within the fight against coronavirus pandemic.
