Decarbonization of housing, buildings discussed at WUF13

A thematic event "Decarbonizing housing and buildings at the City-Industry-Climate Nexus" has been held during the 13th session of the World Urban Forum (WUF13) in Baku, Report informs.

The event was attended by Azerbaijani Parliament Member Parvana Valiyeva, Executive Director of the Economic Cooperation Organization Clean Energy Center (CECECO) in Azerbaijan Aysel Yagubova, Head of the Energy Systems and Industrial Decarbonization Unit of the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO) Riccardo Savigliano, and other representatives.

The event discussed projects aimed at reducing carbon emissions, building sustainable cities, supporting decarbonization processes, and, as a result, improving global urban planning initiatives for sustainable development.
