Deadlines for completion of Astara cargo terminal construction revealed

The construction of the Astara cargo terminal is planned to be completed by the end of next year, reads the communiqué following the meeting of Azerbaijani Deputy Prime Minister Shahin Mustafayev and Iranian Minister of Roads and Urban Development Mehrdad Bazrpash, held July 17 in Iranian Astara, Report informs referring to the Cabinet of Ministers.

It was also noted that it is necessary to complete the creation of the customs and border infrastructure of the road bridge across Astarachay as soon as possible.

During the meeting, issues related to regional and international transport and communications between the two countries, including energy projects, were discussed.
