Centralized electronic document management introduced in Shusha

The Shusha City State Reserve Department has launched the Centralized Electronic Document Management (CEDM) program of the State Agency for Citizen Services and Social Innovations (ASAN Service) under the President, Report informs.

The program will contribute to increasing the efficiency and effectiveness of the implementation of documents, strengthening communication with relevant government agencies.

Maftun Abbasov, Chairman of the Board of the Shusha City State Reserve, said that Shusha is currently experiencing its renaissance, with large-scale infrastructure projects being implemented and historical monuments destroyed during the Armenian occupation being restored:

Many local and foreign companies are proud to be involved in the restoration of Shusha, but the prompt organization of this work and the provision of document circulation with both public and private companies in a modern form has become one of the essential priorities. Electronic document management in any organization meeting modern requirements is one of the main factors determining the effectiveness of the tasks and the ability and skills of the employee. In this regard, we consider the start of cooperation with ASAN service, which has extensive experience in this field, as an important step.

On November 17, Fariz Jafarov, Director of the e-Government Development Center (EGOV), provided detailed information on CEDM, ASAN Login, myGov, the Human Resources Management System, and other successful projects for the President's Special Representative in Shusha and the management and staff of the Shusha City State Reserve. During the presentation, Jafarov said that the services provided by government agencies are evaluated through the ASAN service index.

At the end of the training, the sides exchanged views on artificial intelligence, the growing demand for Big Data technology, and the challenges of Azerbaijan during the IV Industrial Revolution.
