Bashir Hajiyev: Kalbajar's natural resources were extensively exploited during occupation

Natural resources and the environment of Kalbajar were subjected to large-scale exploitation and destruction during the occupation.

Report informs that Bashir Hajiyev, Special Representative of the President of Azerbaijan in Kalbajar, said this at WUF13 in Baku.

According to him, forests were destroyed in the district, natural resources were plundered, and serious damage was caused to water resources and biodiversity.

He emphasized that the projects currently being implemented in Kalbajar represent not only a process of construction and restoration, but also the restoration of historical justice and the return of life to native lands.
