Baku International Sea Trade Port CJSC (Port of Baku) wants to transfer the terminals to the management of foreign, including European, companies, Director-General of the Port of Baku Taleh Ziyadov said at the closing ceremony of the joint project with the EU “Support for the expansion of the possibilities of the Baku Port: Phase 2,” Report informs.
“The terminals will be transferred to management on a contractual basis. The issue that is on the agenda for the next decade is the use of the dry port format in the Port of Baku. This will allow the Port of Baku to play the role of a central hub,” he said.
