Azerbaijan Railways joins UN Global Compact

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC has joined the UN Global Compact, Report informs.

By joining the Global Compact, Azerbaijan Railways has become the first company to represent Azerbaijan in the initiative, which currently involves about 500 of the world’s most influential companies in the field of transport.

Through this initiative, Azerbaijan Railways intends to contribute to the achievement of the UN Sustainable Development Goals, as well as to the country’s economy, by further improving its Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) action program.
