Azerbaijan more than doubles tractor production 

From January through September 2021, Azerbaijan produced machinery and equipment, cars, trailers and semi-trailers, and other vehicles worth AZN 268.4 million, showing an 11.8% growth compared to a year earlier, Report informs, citing the State Statistical Committee.

According to the committee, the production of cars, trailers, and semi-trailers increased by 1.8% compared to the same period last year.

From January through August, 1,516 cars were produced in Azerbaijan, a growth of 134 vehicles or 9.7% more from the same period last year. As of October 1, 2021, the country has stocked 366 finished products.

During the first nine months of 2021, Azerbaijan produced 510 tractors, 2.3 times more than in January-September 2020. As a result, the country had 57 finished products as of October 1.
