Azerbaijan and US company to build national spatial data infrastructure

Azerbaijan and the American company Environmental Systems Research Institute have signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the creation of a National Spatial Data Infrastructure, First Deputy Minister of Economy Elnur Aliyev said on X, according to Report.

"The implementation of this document will promote knowledge exchange in the development of the National Spatial Data Infrastructure, enhance human resource development in this field, and foster the growth of private sector companies specializing in the development of geographic information systems," he noted.
