ASCO sustains growth momentum in dry cargo transportation

In the January–July period of 2026, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping (ASCO) CJSC recorded a 39% increase in cargo transportation volume across its dry cargo vessels compared to the same period last year, Report informs, citing the company.
Specifically, while dry cargo vessels transported 780,366 tons during the first seven months of 2025, this figure reached 1,083,130 tons in the corresponding period of 2026.
In July alone, dry cargo vessels carried 188,825 tons of cargo, up from 114,184 tons in July of last year. Consequently, the volume of cargo transported in July 2026 increased by 74,641 tons, or 65%, compared to the same month last year.
