Aghdam–Khankandi railway construction reaches 44% completion

Work continues on the Aghdam–Khankandi railway line, one of the new transport routes in Karabakh, Azerbaijan.

According to Report, citing Azerbaijan Railways (ADY) CJSC, 90% of design work and nearly 44% of construction work have been completed.

The railway line will stretch 30.8 km and include 130 engineering structures: 6 bridges, 5 road underpasses, 2 pedestrian crossings, and 47 reserve crossings.

It was noted that the concept designs of the Asgaran and Khojaly stations have already been finalized, while construction of the Khankandi Railway and Bus Terminal Complex is progressing rapidly.
