ADY rep: Lower fare options for passenger travel to be explored

Azerbaijan Railways CJSC (ADY) will explore the possibilities of offering passengers lower fares on the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku passenger train route, said Bakhtiyar Hajiyev, head of the Public Relations Department of Azerbaijan Railways CJSC, Report informs.
"The pricing policy on the Baku–Tbilisi–Baku route allows passengers to choose a service class according to their financial capabilities one month before the trip. For example, tickets in the travel class starting from 81 manats ($47) can be purchased 35–20 days before departure," Hajiyev said.
According to him, in the future, Azerbaijan Railways will also consider options for more affordable tickets.
"The possibilities of travel for passengers at lower fares will be explored," he noted.
