UFC tournament kicks off in Baku

The Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) tournament has started in Baku.

According to Report, the competition, held at Baku Crystal Hall, will initially feature six fights.

Currently, a featherweight bout is underway between Irina Alekseyeva (Russia) and Klaudia Sigula (Poland).

The main fights will begin at 23:00. In the headline UFC Fight Night event, Jamahal Hill and Khalil Rountree, both from the United States, will face off.

Among Azerbaijani athletes, Tofiq Musayev will compete against Myktybek Orolbay from Kyrgyzstan, Rafael Fiziyev will face Ignacio Bahamondes from Chile, and Nazim Sadikhov will fight Brazilian Nicholas Motta.
