Turan Guliyev loses opening bout at U17 Worlds

Azerbaijani freestyle wrestler Turan Guliyev has lost his opening bout at the U17 Wrestling World Championships in Baku.

According to Report, the athlete competing in the 71 kg weight category was defeated by Kazakhstan's Adilet Risbay 2:3 in the qualification round.

The U17 Wrestling World Championships are being held at the National Gymnastics Arena. Nearly 700 young wrestlers from more than 60 countries are participating in the competition. 29 wrestlers at the tournament represent Azerbaijan.
