Azerbaijani Olympic medalist refuses to fight in professional boxing

Azerbaijani Olympic medalist Teymur Mammadov refused to continue his career in professional boxing.
The 26-year-old athlete told Report that though he was invited to participate in a professional boxing tournament in Germany, he declined the proposal. According to Mammadov, he made such a decision, since he does not want to be separated from his family.
Notably, Teymur Mammadov is a bronze prize-winner of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games. The fighter who recently completed his amateur boxing career is the winner of the European Championship and the First European Games Baku 2015. He also won silver and bronze medals at the World Championships.
