Baku. 19 February. REPORT.AZ/ Russian athlete Alexander Krushelnitckii, the winner of the bronze medal in the 23nd Winter Olympic Games in South Korea's Pyongyang, tested positive for doping.

Report informs citing Inside The Games that the second sample taken after the doping was revealed in A sample has been opened in Seoul's Anti-Doping Lab this morning. A meldonium was found in the curler's B sample.

Krushelnitckii participated in the Olympic Games together with his wife Anastasia Brizqalova. They won bronze in tandem. Due to the positive probe of the male curler, Russia may lose the first medal it won in Pyongyang-2018.
