Paris to be nominated for 2024 Olympics

Baku. 20 June. REPORT.AZ/ The capital of France, Paris will be nominated for 2024 Summer Olympic Games. Report informs, Paris city council approved the appropriate application.
The application will be received on June 24- the day of establishment of the International Olympic Committee.
Earlier, Boston (USA), Hamburg (Germany) and Rome (Italy) were nominated. Last time, the Olympic Games were held in Paris in 1924.
The applications for 2024 Olympics will be carried out up to September 15. Baku is expected to be in the list of candidates. The name of the host city will be announced in the session of the International Olympic Committee to be held in 2017 in Lima, the capital of Peru.
