Austrian reports suggest that Red Bull owner and fellow billionaire Dietrich Mateschitz has personally invited the American magnate - who made his money at Microsoft and now fronts the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation - to attend.
When asked about the Gates story, Red Bull's Dr. Helmut Marko told Kronen Zeitung newspaper: "This is not my role.
I just took care that the mission to start Formula 1 in Spielberg was completed successfully. Projekt Spielberg and Red Bull will announce everything else."
Notably, 2020 Formula 1 has not yet begun due to the coronavirus pandemic. Earlier, the Formula 1 management also delayed the Grand Prix of Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Vietnam, China, the Netherlands, Spain, and Canada and canceled the rounds of Monaco, Netherlands and France Grand Prix. The Azerbaijani Grand Prix was scheduled for June 5-7.
