Azerbaijani weightlifter Angelova fails doping test

Baku. 16 December. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani weightlifter Silvia Angelova failed her drug test.

Report informs, the international weightlifting federation has suspended four athletes who failed doping tests at the world championships in Houston last month.The IWF said Moldova's Ghenadie Dudoglo, Silviya Angelova of Azerbaijan, Umurbek Bazarbayev of Turkmenistan and Saudi Arabia's Mansour Abdulrahim M Al Saleem tested positive for different banned substances, including steroids.

Notably, Silvia Angelova won a silver medal at the European championships in 2013.
