Azerbaijani taekwondo wrestler wins bronze award in junior Olympics - PHOTO

Baku. 10 October. REPORT.AZ/ Azerbaijani taekwondo wresler Javad Agayev (63 kg) grabbed bronze in the Summer Junior Olympic Games held in Buenos Aires these days.

According to Report, Agayev beat Stefan Atemi of Southern Sudan in the first bout and upset Hamed Askeri of Iran in the quarterfinals. However, Agayev lost to Won-Hee Cho of South Korea and finished the tournament on the third place.

This is yet the second medal of the Azerbaijani national team in the competitions. Notably, earlier judoka Vugar Talibov (66 kg) became the champion of the youth Olympic Games.
