Azerbaijani judoka wins gold

Baku. 18 February. REPORT.AZ/ The European cup in judo is underway in Rome.

According to Report, in the up to 60 kg division, Azerbaijan was represented by Oruj Valizade.

On the way to the championship crown the Azerbaijani athlete upset rivals from Russia, France and Kazakhstan.

In the consolation bout another Azerbaijani judoka (in the up to 60 kg division) Rovshan Aliyev beat a Kazakhstan representative but lost to French Sylvain Goulet.

In the category below 66 kg Tarlan Kerimov lost to Sofian Hamdaoui.
