Azerbaijan's flag bearers at 2024 Olympics closing ceremony defined

The athletes who will carry Azerbaijan's flag at the closing ceremony of the Summer Olympic Games in Paris have been determined.

According to Report's correspondent from Paris, the flag bearers will be taekwondo athlete Hashim Mahammadov (58 kg) and member of the Azerbaijani team in group exercises in rhythmic gymnastics Zeynab Hummatova.

Mahammadov won a silver medal, and the team consisting of Zeynab Hummatova, Daria Sorokina, Laman Alimuradova, Gullu Aghalarzade and Yelyzaveta Luzan took 5th place in Paris, which was the best result of the team at the Olympics.

The Summer Olympic Games in Paris will end on August 11.
