One dead in landmine explosion in Azerbaijan's Tartar

A landmine incident occurred in Hasangaya village of Azerbaijan’s Tartar district, according to the joint statement of the press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the General Prosecutor's Office and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA), Report informs.
Hajiyev Arzu Najaf oghlu, born in 1965, was hit by a landmine while grazing animals in an area not cleared of mines, near the former contact line. He died of his injuries on the spot.
The Tartar district prosecutor's office is investigating the fact.
ANAMA, MIA and the General Prosecutor's Office once again urge citizens to observe safety rules, pay attention to mine danger signs and not enter unfamiliar areas!
