Rovshan Lankaranski s body is being transferred to Azerbaijan

Baku. 18 August. REPORT.AZ/ Injured during an armed attack in Turkey, Rovshan Janiyev (Lankaranski) died in the hospital.

Report was informed by the relatives of the deceased.

He will be buried in his native city of Lankaran.

His brother Namiq Janiyev is currently in Turkey.

Currently, Lankaran is preparing for the funeral. The funeral ceremony will be held in the Janiyev’s house. Lankaranski will be buried in the Sardakhly cemetery in the neighborhood.

The incident took place in Istanbul. R.Lankaranski, who was leaving a meeting at a hotel in Barbaros Boulevard by 90 ND 011 state number plate car, was attacked by 2 men from the car in front of the hotel.

As a result, R.Lankaranski and unknown driver were wounded.

The gunmen fled the scene.

A large number of police and ambulance teams arrived to the scene. The driver has died soon after the attack.
