Moldova extradites murder suspect to Azerbaijan

Azerbaijani citizen Ruslan Ali oglu Asgarov (born in 1981), who was wanted internationally, has been extradited from Moldova to Azerbaijan.
The Prosecutor General's Office told Report that Asgarov was charged in a case involving the intentional contract killing of a person, which is being investigated by the Samukh District Prosecutor's Office. After going into hiding from investigators, he was remanded in custody by court order and placed on an international wanted list.
As part of international investigative and operational measures, the suspect was detained in Moldova and brought to Azerbaijan under the escort of a special convoy of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice.
