Man injured in explosion in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district

A man was injured in an ordnance explosion in the village of Zaylik in Azerbaijan's Kalbajar district, Report informs, citing a joint statement by the Prosecutor General's Office, the Ministry of Internal Affairs and the Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA).

The statement said that Sarkhan Isgandarov, a resident of the Gazakh district born in 1987, was grazing livestock in an area that had not yet been cleared of mines when the explosion occurred.

An investigation into the incident has been launched by the Kalbajar District Prosecutor's Office.
