Another 562 hectares of land cleared of mines, unexploded ordnance in Azerbaijan

Azerbaijan National Agency for Mine Action (ANAMA) has revealed the number of mines discovered during demining operations in liberated territories last week, Report informs.

According to ANAMA, 239 anti-personnel mines, 140 anti-tank mines and 125 unexploded pieces of munitions were found during demining operations conducted in Tartar, Aghdam, Khojavand, Fuzuli, Shusha, Gubadli, Jabrayil and Zangilan from August 15 to 20.

As a result, 562 hectares of land were cleared of mines and unexploded ordnance.
