Selcuk Bayraktar: "We’re planning to build a new plant in Azerbaijan"

"Apart from the operation and maintenance of Bayraktar TB2 drones and unmanned aerial vehicles in Azerbaijan, we aim to establish an enterprise to develop the high technology needed to produce these devices and expand the use of artificial intelligence," Report informs, citing Selcuk Bayraktar, technical director of the Turkish company Baykar.

According to him, they are cooperating with two government agencies in Azerbaijan for this purpose.

"We aim to operate in the technopark, set up jointly by the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport and ASAN Service. Inshallah, it will be realized as soon as possible. At the same time, we aim to create institutions that will mentor and support technology initiatives. As the Turkish Technology Foundation, together with ASAN Service, we will open the first DNA centre in Azerbaijan. We also aim to open a science centre near it."
