Azerbaijan to turn into regional leader in AI field

The implementation of Azerbaijan's Artificial Intelligence Strategy for 2025-2028 will allow the country to become one of the regional leaders in the field of artificial intelligence.

Report informs that this was stated by Sahib Mammadov, the chairman of the Confederation of Trade Unions of Azerbaijan, during his speech at a conference titled "Digitalization and the impact of artificial intelligence on workplaces."

According to him, the mentioned strategy is one of the key documents to accelerate Azerbaijan's development in the field of artificial intelligence and ensure that the country holds a significant place in the global artificial intelligence ecosystem.

Mammadov noted that according to experts' forecasts, artificial intelligence will dominate the labor market in the coming years: "Naturally, workers without technical skills and modern habits may face certain difficulties. Therefore, we must be prepared for changes. Currently, measures are being taken in our country to prevent these difficulties, and systematic work is being carried out to adapt the workforce to modern challenges and ensure inclusive employment."
