Azerbaijan, Senegal mull co-op in digital development, innovation

Azerbaijan and Senegal have discussed cooperation in digital development and innovation during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Hasanov and a delegation led by Senegal's Minister of Public Service, Labor and Public Administration Reform Mamadou Lamine Diante, Report informs.
The visit of the Senegalese delegation to Azerbaijan was organized with the support of the Labour Centre of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation.
The parties discussed the work carried out under the memorandums of understanding from December 2025. The Senegalese side provided information on the agenda for the digital transformation of public services in its country.
"The meeting participants exchanged views on promising areas of cooperation, focusing on the exchange of experience in the digitalization of public services, particularly regarding the 'myGov' platform. The importance of advanced training for civil servants in the fields of artificial intelligence and cybersecurity was emphasized, and opportunities for supporting the startup ecosystem were also considered," the Ministry of Digital Development and Transport of Azerbaijan noted.
