Azerbaijan, Pakistan discuss cooperation in ICT

Minister of Digital Development and Transport Rashad Nabiyev has today met with a well-known Pakistani philanthropist and a well-known Pakistani philanthropist and chairperson of BOL Media Group, Ayesha Shaikh.

During the meeting, Ayesha Shaikh gave detailed information about the activities of the BOL Media Group. According to her, BOL Media Group is a group of companies with more than 680 channels broadcasting in 16 languages and more than 50 million viewers: "In addition, the company also operates in the ICT sector. BOL Media Group is currently working to establish a new training center and business platform to increase Pakistan's IT exports."

Minister Nabiyev noted that digital transformation is on the agenda of the Azerbaijani government and briefed the Pakistani guest on the work being done in this area, as well as future plans.

Afterward, the two countries exchanged views on opportunities for cooperation in the ICT sector, including programs to train Azerbaijani specialists in Pakistan.
