The World Health Organization (WHO) has called on countries to join the international COVAX mechanism, Report informs, citing TASS.
The goal of COVAX is to distribute the coronavirus vaccine equitably in all countries in the event of an outbreak.
"The global COVAX mechanism is essential for shared vaccine delivery and risk management. That is why I have sent a letter to all countries to join the COVAX mechanism," said Tedros Adhanom Gebreyesus, director-general of the organization.
