WHO: About 6 billion doses of COVID vaccines administered worldwide

To date, more than 5.9 billion doses of coronavirus have been administered worldwide, the Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said at a briefing today, Report informs.
According to Ghebreyesus, Africa accounts for only 2% of this figure.
"Africans are at greater risk than many other people in the world. Today, more and more people are leaving Africa," he said.
