EC eyes inoculating 60% of EU population with one dose by June 27

The European Commission hopes that by June 27, it will be possible to vaccinate 60 percent of the EU adult population against coronavirus with one dose, President of the European Commission Ursula von der Leyen tweeted June 24, Report informs referring to TASS.
In total, 346 million injections have been made in the EU countries, and 424 million doses of vaccines have been received, she noted.
Von der Leyen also voiced these figures at the EU summit on June 24.
The European Commission has set for the community countries the goal of completing the two-dose vaccination of 70 percent of the EU adult population by the end of July. Vaccination of minors has also begun in EU countries.
