Azerbaijani FM calls for more intensive fight against pandemic

Countries around the world must step up efforts to tackle the COVID-19 pandemic to address this global challenge, Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said during the Global Baku Forum.

Report informs that he stressed the importance of equitable and fair distribution of COVID-19 vaccines.

"Vaccines should be fairly distributed between the countries. Azerbaijan was one of the first to express its attitude to this issue," Bayramov added.

He recalled that President Ilham Aliyev has repeatedly stated this in his speeches from various international rostrums.
