"At present, appropriate measures are being taken to create software for the Identification and Registration of Animals and to ensure the efficiency of testing, as well as the continuity of subsequent activities during the testing period," the chairman of the Food Safety Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Goshgar Tahmazli, said at a press conference on the agency's activities in the first nine months of 2021.
According to him, together with the Ministry of Agriculture in the liberated territories, the creation of a legal framework and administrative work has begun to create animal disease-free zones: "By applying the system, we will be able to track all the animals. Information about the diseases of all animals, vaccinations, information about which farm they belong to will be reflected in the system. Ensuring state control over animal diseases will increase exports of animal products."
